Coaching Opportunities - A & BB Programs (U18, U15, U13, U11 & U9)
The New Tecumseth IceCats, proudly celebrating 26 years of female hockey excellence, continue to grow across all divisions and skill levels. As we prepare for the 2026-2027 season, we are now accepting coaching applications for our A and BB programs at the U18, U15, U13, U11, and U9 levels.
We are a growing organization committed to developing young female athletes in a competitive, supportive, and character-building environment. We are seeking coaches who are passionate about teaching the game, fostering development, and representing the IceCats with professionalism on and off the ice.
Position Requirements
Applicants must submit all of the following:
• Coaching Certifications
• Must hold the appropriate NCCP/OWHA coaching certifications for the age level applied for (or be in progress for completion prior to the season).
• Seasonal Coaching Plan
• Outline of your annual plan including practice structure, skill development focus, tournaments, key seasonal milestones, and team goals.
• Basic Team Budget
• Preliminary financial plan for the season including tournaments, apparel, training development, travel, and team events.
• Player Development Approach
• Age-appropriate development plan for player growth (technical, tactical, physical, and mental).
• Supportive approach to development of younger players and integration into higher levels within the organization.
• Resume & References
• A current coaching/hockey resume.
• Three (3) references.
• Team Selection Strategy
• A clear, fair process for tryouts and player evaluation.
• Coaching Philosophy
• A one-page summary of your coaching philosophy, values, communication style, and culture-building approach.
